Hi Kevin,

thank you very much for your very mature response. Maybe I was
overreacting ... I'm not sure. Anyway, if it's alright with you, I'd
say we just forget the whole thing.

I've come to realize that I do care about the state of SCons in
Nixpkgs -- because I use it --, but continuing this debate really
feels like a lost cause. I've tried hard to make my points, but
apparently I didn't get them across, so maybe you guys are right
after all. If you feel that patching SCons is the way to go, then,
by all means, please go ahead.
