Hm, really, I missed the point that you only promised to kill
__overrides, not remove the overrides from core expressions.

Sorry, I quoted in a misleading fashion. Of course I am all for removing
deepOverrides there (I was a bit annoyed that I had to create and use it
in the first place). I only replied to the second statement that
packageOverrides are strictly cleaner.
