[Nix-dev] nixos-rebuild build-vm on newer kernels: CIFS VFS: Connecting to DFS root not implemented yet

Hi all,

I found a discussion on the nixos IRC regarding this topic, but I
don't think anyone came up with a solution yet.
It seems something got changed with kernel 3.4's parsing of mount
options, leading to cifs problems.
It got fixed around 3.4.4, but people report 3.4.7 to be broken again.
3.5.2 has the same issue too.

Does anyone have a clue how to work around this? Do we need to change
the cifs mount options for vms? Or upgrade/patch samba?
