BTW, no one had confimed my md5sum:
paul at paul-P5GZ-MX:~$ md5sum nixos-graphical-0.1pre29826-i686-linux.iso

Because I now make the hypothesis that it does not work on any computer!
So if it works for you, you can easily show me wrong to everyone. Please do!
I claim that after typying 'root' for the login name...
and 'start xserver' the starting process goes up to showing the first
icon of KDE loading, that is the hard disk icon in the middle left of
the screen. And then, after a long while, screen would go black.
I say this because I think that what had happend when I tried on a P4
with 768Mb.
That what had happend when I tried under QEMU with I believe 512Mb
virtual memory (on a Celeron D with 1 Gb). I thought that it was
because my system was emulating to slow because the processor do not
have Virtual T(echnology?) flag.
But now, I tested also on my spare computer which is a P3 with 128 Mb
memory and got the same result (indeed, 128Mb is not enough for KDE...
but it does the same as others computers).
BTW, booting with debug2 enable works fine on my Celeron D computer.
(which would generate oops just after showing 'login:' without that
kernel command-line option).
But then, the system is very minimal... not stopping on Ctrl-C,
without any editor I think.
I think I would have to edit one of the .sh files inside nix/store
before launching it... but which .sh file? It is no fun to type the
hash manually!
