[Nix-dev] general question

Hello, 
 
I don't know if Im the person for that job.
I never have used Nix and Gnome is a very big package.
I even have a idea how to install Nix for a basic system.
 
 
So I will need a lot of help regarding how Nix works and how to write build scripts.
