Oh, sounds like a nice plan!  Then maybe we could retarget Guile’s
compiler to the Nix VM, which would benefit not only to Emacs (users
could extend it in Nix, in addition to Emacs Lisp and Scheme) but also
to GNU Smalltalk [0].

When do we start?
