[Nix-dev] upstart: pre-stop not executed?

I can't see upstart executing pre-stop scripts.

In the postfix case this is fatal because postfix won't be stopped.
If it is not stopped it won't be restarted because its still running.

Can anyone confirm this?

try
stop postfix
start postfix

you cat run the stop command found in the upstart file manually to stop
it. Then you can restart it.
