[Nix-dev] squashfs - why is it rebuilt ?

When building the installation cd:

nix-build -A iso_minimal release.nix

the squashfs image is rebuilt over and over again. Why?

When runing nix-store -q --tree /nix/store/path-to-squashfs-image

There are no dependencies ?

 nixos i%nix-store -q --tree /nix/store/r3nz1hnwz3wycvirsj7p6hwf5rsq3xk9-squashfs.img
/nix/store/r3nz1hnwz3wycvirsj7p6hwf5rsq3xk9-squashfs.img

Whats going on here?
