[Nix-dev] X server too slow coming up for kdm (modular-nixos)

Hello,

I'm using the modular nixos branch with kdm and xserver with
autostart, and today, on boot, it didn't come up. I've only seen this
once.

messages says:
Jul  3 23:19:45 mandarina kdm[4539]: X server startup timeout, terminating
Jul  3 23:19:45 mandarina kdm[4539]: X server for display :0 cannot be
started, session disabled

I could see the X video mode being set, and in less than a second, the
X server dying.

Any clues?
