Sorry, bad example, try this:
eval "foo while; { foo }"; echo $?
(either bash or sh)
Excatly that has happened to me more than once.
It hase been bad in this case because it was the test which wasn't run..
And then you wait till all modules and libs have been compiled just to
recognize that nothing works as expected.
