[Nix-dev] What about passwords within nixos/configuration.nix

Hi,

I've wondered wether it is / should be good practise to insert passwords
into configuration.nix?
Right now all input will end up beeing in some .drv files thus readable
by public.
So is the recommended way by now create your /etc/<some file> and pass
this name?

Do you think it could be useful to configure passwords within
configuration.nix ?

A failed build process (-K) might be readable by public as well
