[Nix-dev] changing libstore to store packages as name-hash instead of hash-name

Don't know wether it has drawbacks as well using
/name-hash/ instead of /hash-name/
One drawback is you'll ave to type more characters when cding into a
store path. Another might be that the filesystem driver needs more time
to find it ? (This might be negligible).

What is your use case for this change?
Woulda small script creating one symlink for each name-hash work for you
as well? (maybe in /nix/erots/ ?)
When implementing kind of hooks (after installing/ before removing a
path) this could be done automatically easily..
