[Nix-dev] name resolution in nix packages not working

Very strange.  Do you have the "nscd" daemon running on your system, and if so,
what version of Glibc does your Debian install use?  And if nscd is running,
could you try if it works without nscd?

(It should work with or without nscd, but I can imagine that if you *do* have
nscd, that there could be an incompatibility between the Nix Glibc and the
Debian Glibc.  A remote possibility though...)
