[Nix-dev] When do Hydra channel builds run?

The Hydra build process is sort of opaque to me; commits go into nixpkgs,
and eventually end up in nixpkgs-channels, but I have no idea when or why.

I've been waiting on some security fixes to get into the 16.03 channel
because I want to make an announcement when it happens. I've just been
checking the github repo periodically for the last few days to see whether
the commits have showed up there yet.

Is there something better I be looking at? Is there any way to forecast
when a build is going to happen next?
