[Nix-dev] Ruby & nixpkgs - who is maintaining it?

I'd like to merge / submit my code with the existing code in nixpkgs:

Who is maintaining the current implementation described in the manual?

The most important information is how to add missing C libraries if you
interface with such. My work includes a patches.nix file telling the
code that gems having a name or name-version should be merged with
additional patches / buildInputs solving that.
