[Nix-dev] Flattening pkgs tree in nixpkgs/pkgs

Hi,

same here. I’ve also been a long-time user of Gentoo and found their category model quite nice to use.

Obviously the model will never be perfect, but that isn’t an argument in favor of abandoning any structure at all.
