I just tried this ona 15.09 x86_64 linux box

 checking whether DBD::SQLite works... no
 configure: error: in `/home/mog/docs/code/nixos/nix':
 configure: error: The Perl modules DBI and/or DBD::SQLite are missing.
 See `config.log' for more details
