The new logo was designed by Tim Cuthbertson[1]. You can certainly ask 
him if he agrees to put his work under some well-known license.
I think we should go for a CC-BY, or a CC-BY-SA. BY makes sense, as it 
is a legal requirement in some countries like France for example.

Remains the issue with the first haskell logo design. Maybe just having 
a copy of the agreement of the initial autor would do ?
