[Nix-dev] What happens to nix-shell packages on GC run?

Hi,

what happens to nix-shells if I run nix-collect-garbage?

For example:

    nix-shell -p racket

another terminal:

    nix-collect-garbage

is racket now gone in the nix-shell environment or does nix
"magically" find out that this package is in use and doesn't remove
it?
