[Nix-dev] Installing Nix under Debian Jessie (32-bit)

nix's deb was built against older perl in Debian.

>From my point nix's debs and rpm do not make sense,
since right after installing it you will be using nix from nix store.

I usually use install script https://nixos.org/nix/install
