[Nix-dev] Grub2 install error on latest unstable channel

So the old channel had

updating GRUB 2 menu...
installing the GRUB 2 boot loader on /dev/vda...
[success]


But the new channel has

updating GRUB 2 menu...
Failed to get blkid info for /nix/store on store at
/nix/store/pmashz5671fadjfyxaxf6r0bcz5839m4-install-grub.pl line 160.
[fail]


I was at first thinking that the issue was a grub version update, but
now I wonder whether its a change in nixos instead. Why does it use
blkid for /nix/store? I don't know this code, but the log looks a bit
odd.
