[Nix-dev] Fwd: Haskell Platform, anyone?

I think dropping it is a great idea, because there's no point to the
Haskell Platform with the advantages that Nix provides. However, that being
said, I actually have tried to create a 2014.2.0.0 package for Nix but it
seems that the build system of the Haskell Platform has changed
significantly. It seemed non-trivial to add and I have seen a few other
people try and fail at it as well. Inevitably, most people(like me) find
that they really have no need for it with the ability to create profiles,
and move on
