[Nix-dev] FONTCONFIG_FILE, FONTCONFIG_PATH on !NixOS

Hi,

I'm trying to replace most of the Arch packages on my laptop with
nixpkgs.  That works quite well except that X applications can't find
any fonts if FONTCONFIG_FILE or FONTCONFIG_DIR doesn't point to the
local fontconfig setup (which is /etc/fonts, managed by pacman).

nix.sh used to set FONTCONFIG_FILE:

but doesn't do it any more so I'm probably missing something?
