[Nix-dev] nix-channel --update does not work

I just checked and the bz2 files are in the directory, I can fetch them.

In case of problems, you should be able to run nix-pull on any path to 
get the manifest (as root). And the expressions are usually just 
unpacked into ~/.nix-defexpr, although you can use anything if you 
specify the root via -f parameter in nix-env or as the parameter of 
nix-build.
