[Nix-dev] What kills my xserver?

Hey, this is happening in opensuse 12.1 and earlier. Just sayin' because
perhaps you can rule out some nix[os] peculiarities and/or do some
cross-distro research.

Ping me if you want me to test something. I might show up by the IRC too.

I don't reboot this suse often, as I keep it suspended, but I've learned to
issue ctrl+alt+f1 and then ctrl+alt+del xD

Please note that I am not confirming that the X server blows or any other
detail, but just the behaviour Mathijs describes.
