[Nix-dev] No 64-bit .debs of nix

The Debian packages on the Nix download page[1] which claim to work on
x86_64 are actually built for the i386 architecture:

    $ wget http://hydra.nixos.org/build/565038/download/1/nix_0.16-1_amd64.deb
    $ dpkg -I nix_0.16-1_amd64.deb 
     new debian package, version 2.0.
     size 3488050 bytes: control archive= 363 bytes.

This must have happened sometime in the last couple months since I've
successfully installed nix 0.16 on a 64-bit machine not terribly long
ago.

In addition, there are no .debs for Debian 6, which is already
considered to be fairly old. The packages for Debian 5 work on Debian 6,
but it makes Nix look fairly outdated to only offer packages for 4 and 5.
