my understanding is that these Git repositories are read-only, i.e. they
are one-way mirrors of SVN. Under these circumstances, it's impossible
to process such pull requests on Github. It's a good thing that your
patches are being archived that way until they can be applied, but you
should probably not expect that to happen until the repository has
actually moved to Github.
