I don't mind about the compile. In fact I found very helpful to know the cflags
that to go to gcc. For example, cmake builds could have "VERBOSE=1" in makeFlags
always, for my taste. :)

Discussing some annoyances, I dislike the patches on gnumake that create the
hydra fancy log tree, that I never use because I parse much better the raw log,
and works slow in my browser. The gnumake terminal sequences look very bad if
seen through 'less', and that's what I use most either in 'ts' or in 'nix-store
-l'.
