[Nix-dev] Contributions for nixos

And another batch for nixos.

Can someone please feed these to svn?

The only noteworthy one is 0004.
I've been playing around a bit with livecds and I didn't like the fact
that I needed to edit release.nix, as those changes are just useful to
me. So I wanted to be able to have external (not in repo) nix
expressions to build cds and such. However, release.nix contained the
useful function makeIso and didn't export it. So I split release.nix
into a reusable lib and the jobs themselves.

If there is a better way (or a better place/name for the helper lib),
please let me know.
