Can you paste this:
nix-env -qa \* -P -f $NIXPKGS_ALL | grep -i python
I personally don't use upgrade. Its even harmfull: If a package gets
renamed or goes away you won't notice it! That's why I use a collections
(see wiki) instead. I always upgrade by reinstalling a set of packages.
Then I know that everything still builds the way I know.
