Yury G Kudryashov had another idea which tries to protect against
failures: sending output of configure script:

I personally don't care enough. I wasn't hit by that problem yet
although I've been using NixOS as main system for quite a while now.
It could make sense though. I feel depressed about giving a final
statement on this list nowadays. So try to get feedback from other
community members - or send patches and hope that someone has time
to comment them.
