Hello Nixers!

I gave today a 35-minute talk about NixOS at the Libre Software Meeting
(aka. RMLL) in Bordeaux, France. The summary and slides are at:

  http://2010.rmll.info/NixOS-The-Only-Functional-GNU-Linux-Distribution.html?lang=en

The schedule was pretty bad (the technical topics ended soon after, so
people had started leaving), so there were only ~25 people in the room.

The provocative title produced the desired effect. ;-) People seemed
quite impressed by the features. Some suggested they’d rather wait
until these features would be merged in an “existing distro”. Others
said they’d give it a try.

Thanks,
Ludo’.
