Yeah, that’s only a short-term solution I guess.

This pattern may be frequent enough that we should try to somehow detect
it automatically, and ideally provide “standard” procedures to work
around it.  Or we could choose to not work around it, since the only
downside AIUI is retention of the bootstrap stdenv, which should be
relatively small.
