I am all for it. If there is a reason why those libraries are packaged
in the 'gtkLibs' attribute, then I don't see it.

On a side note, it appears that glib has already been duplicated:

  pkgs/development/libraries/gtk-libs/<version>/glib 
  pkgs/development/libraries/glib
