Yes, it's probably best to revert to the old option names for now, and if
Nicolas implements support for option renaming, we can rename it again to the
new ones.

Do you have experience with GRUB 2?  How well does it work nowadays?  Is it
already usable for NixOS?

I guess the whole world is waiting to be able to get rid of GRUB 1 + lots of ad
hoc patches ;-)
