You should be using nixos.org as the University of Utrecht address above
has been phased out some time ago.

I typically do “nix-pull
http://hydra.nixos.org/project/nixpkgs/channel/latest/MANIFEST” but
that’s not the recommended way because such manifests are generated on
the fly by Hydra.  And I don’t remember the recommended address.  :-)
