no, unfortunately, I cannot think of any solution to this problem.

A realistic improvement, however, would be to scan the build log files
for certain "evil" flags, i.e. --march=xxx where xxx is something other
than the expected architecture. Maybe Hydra could issue a QA warning
whenever it finds such a flag?
