[Nix-dev] Help needed: PPL on Darwin and Cygwin

Hello,
The Parma Polyhedra Library (PPL) fails to build on Darwin and Cygwin:
http://hydra.nixos.org/job/nixpkgs/trunk/ppl/all
For Darwin, it appears to be a gcc-apple issue (not surprisingly). On
Cygwin, we hit a GCC internal error.
PPL is a dependency of GCC 4.4. While it's optional, not using it would
deprive us from the shiny Graphite optimization framework
(http://gcc.gnu.org/wiki/Graphite). Thus, I think it's important to
have it on Darwin and Cygwin, if we are serious about these platforms.
Would Darwin/Cygwin-savvy people like to help?
Thanks,
Ludo'.
