[Nix-dev] Providing Info `dir' files

Nice hack!  However, it won't work when browsing Info files from Emacs,
pinfo, etc.

What would you think of using a "user environment build hook" to create
`dir', as was discussed in
http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.linux.distributions.nixos/981?
