Maybe it should be lowPrio in all-packages. Do you know any "host"
utility less capable than that one?

You could add dnsutils/bindutils - the utilities from BIND without BIND.
They can be called DNS debugging tools without stretching and quotes.
Also that ensures seamless upgrade to complete BIND.
