[Nix-dev] Thought: qualitiy assurance / make check on local machine

We've talked about running testing features recently..

Best qualty assurance can only be given if the test runs on your machine
because CPU's might differ.. But don't know wether it's worth creating a
wrapper wrapping the package and running tests which is not included
within the binary build (speed will suffer when installing)..
