Me too.

Another way is to use some login manager that support session descriptions 
in /usr/share/xsessions (moved somewhere in NixOS, of 
course; /var/run/current-system/sw/share/xsessions, for example). The 
problem is that most of those login managers are impure, and we need to 
patch them.
