As far as GNU licenses are concerned, I like the convention that's being
used by more and more GNU packages: "GPLv2+" for "GPL version 2 or
later", "GPLv2" for "GPL version 2 only", "LGPLv3+", etc.  It's more
accurate, especially since there are incompatibilities.

There's no general consensus among Nixpkgs contributors, though.
