[Nix-dev] installation fails to install grub to separate /boot

The trick with installation is that you need to mount all of your 
important partitions before nixos-install. So you need to mount desired 
/ to /mnt, and then mount all partitions where installation might want 
to write. So, in your case, did you mount /dev/sda2 to /mnt/boot?
