Can you please commit one change at a time, with a descriptive log, for
easier review?  (If you use `git-svn', "git svn dcommit" maps 1 Git
commit to 1 SVN changeset, so that should be OK.)

I don't think it's a good idea to make packages for release candidates,
especially since the source tarball is usually removed afterward.
