Release cycles of Nix. Hm, interesting thought! There is as far as I
know no official release cycle. Every once in a while Eelco makes a new
release, but sometimes it is quite a long time between releases. Nix is
released much more in a "continuous cycle". The build process of Nix is
very much test driven and I have never had a problem with using the
unstable releases of Nix and doing normal work with Nix.

Of course, this is no guarantee for the future :)
