[Nix-dev] New distributions server

Hi,

The Nix and Stratego distributions (i.e., the releases produced by the
Nix build farm) have finally been moved to a more stable machine than
catamaran.labs.cs.uu.nl.  The new URL is:

  http://nix.cs.uu.nl/dist

Catamaran now redirects permanently to this machine, so Nix channels
should continue to work.  However, it is best to update your ~/.nix-
channels file (just replace "catamaran.labs.cs.uu.nl" with
"nix.cs.uu.nl").

Of course, the Apache on the new machine (actually a virtual machine
running on Xen) is entirely managed as a Nix service:

  https://svn.cs.uu.nl:12443/repos/trace/services/trunk/configurations/nix.cs.uu.nl/

which is a good excuse to announce that a paper on service deployment
using Nix has been accepted for SCM-12
(http://www.cs.ucsc.edu/~ejw/scm12/).  A draft can be found here:
